Valentines day isn’t just for the “big people” the little people need and deserve to be loved on as well. There is just something so magical and fun to watch the way little ones embrace “holidays”. My daughter has been eyeing up all the valentines decor in the stores for the past few weeks, always asking to get something new. I let her pick out her own valentines to make for her friends at preschool. To no surprise she chose Anna and Elsa ones from Disney’s Frozen. She had fun writing (with mommy’s assistance) her name on all 17 of them. I love my babies, they are truly an incredible blessing and answer to prayer in my life so this Valentines day I will be celebrating all 3 of my Valentines. I am one blessed chick! I want to instil in my babies that gifts don’t have to be tangible things, they can be a love note (a coloured picture in their terms), going or doing something special together, but since my babies are still too little to really understand that part of love yet, I want them to learn to appreciate gifts for the heart they are given with and not the price tag they came with. You don’t have to buy your little ones expensive things this Valentines to let them know you love them. Start with your time and undivided attention – I can guarantee no money can top that. I know for my daughter right now giving her new play doh is like giving her a million bucks. My son is into books right now which is so cute to see this little 1 year old sitting and reading and he talks away to the pictures. A couple dollars spent on the the thing they are into will be priceless when you see the smiles on their faces. Here are a few fun things I found for the little people:
