Hard to believe we are less than a week away from Christmas Day! I have been so busy this week between last minute shopping, errands, baking, playdates, Christmas parties and taking care of a sick girl that it has just hit me how close we are to the big day and with all the focus on Christmas, I keep forgetting that New Years is right around the corner as well. Are you getting excited? Do the holidays stress you out? or are you a relaxed “roll with it” kind of person? I am so excited and my daughter can’t stop talking about “cottage mommy?” every day. We will be spending Christmas up at our cottage which is always a fun time with family and we will finally have some snow to enjoy. I have been busy pinning away ideas for my tablescape for the big dinner. Obviously since we will be at the cottage I won’t have at my disposal all of my dishes etc… that I would if I was at my house. So here is my tablescape  idea for this year!

 

 

 

I am sure it doesn’t surprise you to see gold and lots of it. I like this look because it is classy yet has a rustic feel. I like the pinecone idea since we will be at the cottage it adds that rustic feel to it. I obviously won’t be using gold cutlery up there, but this is my “inspiration” if you will call it. There are just so many beautiful ideas on Pinterest it makes having to be creative really simple. I am sure you can find something you like in just about every picture on there.
