My very dear friend Katie is 30 today!  Katie is precious to me.  We started to meet and hang out about 2 years ago and I have loved getting to know her better and deeper during our Thursday mornings (7:30 am!) coffees times.  I thought it would be fun to hijack Katie’s usual Monday blog with some questions so that you all could get to know her better too.  I asked Katie some questions and below are her answers.

Age: 30 (ahhh I can’t believe I just wrote that)

Birthplace: Mississauga, Ontario Canada

Name – what does your name stand for? Katie means “pure”  Lynn (middle name) means “to dwell by the torrent” and I was named Lynn after my cousin whose name is Lindsay

Favorite Colour?  Gold (and white but white is a shade not a colour)

Favorite Sport – to play or watch?  hmmm either hockey or tennis and to watch – well I would never choose to watch sports really but since I am married to a sports fanatic I “get” to watch every sport even the highlights lol

Favourite Past Time?  Shopping… oh but I also love to play my piano and sing and dance lol

Favourite TV Shows?  Suits, Homeland, Chicago PD, Chicago Fire, Heartland, HGTV (anything on there) One Tree Hill is my ultimate favourite show but its no longer on TV

Musical Interests – Bands/Artists?  Oh wow this list could be very very long – some of my favourite, Hillsong, Vertical Church Band, Newlife Worship, Kari Jobe, Passion, Gavin Degraw, Lady Antabellum, Pink, Justin Timberlake, Ed Sheeran

Coffee or Tea?  I am trying to learn to like coffee but I would say Latte or tea

Favourite Phone App?  Instagram

Favourite Cities?  hmmm does this have to be visited or not? Ok well I’ll just say cities in general – Vancouver, Portland, LA, NYC, Paris, Phoenix, Ka’anapali

Travel Bucket List?  Italy, Cali coastline (San Diego, LA,Beverly Hills, Launga Beach, Malibu, San Fransico) Paris

Boots or Shoes?  Shoes although I love when boot season rolls around but I would rather shoes over boots

Favourite Food to Make?  none lol – I usually would choose Italian or Mexican to cook though

Favourite Dish Ordered Out?  hmmm a good steak but usually I try to pick something I wouldn’t make at home

Most Visited Websites?  Nordstrom, Chapters/Indigo, Blogs I read, WordPress, Target, Restoration Hardware, Pottery Barn, Gap, Kate Spade, Tory Burch

Favourite Book?  The Bible

Biggest Fear?  Rejection and Snakes

Biggest Insecurity? The way I look

Something You’re Working On?   Shopping and picking out stuff for the new house – also on being more present when I am with my family and kids and not always “multi-tasking” but to really give them my full attention
