My trip to San Francisco was amazing I simply wish I had more time to explore the amazing sea side city! My dad and I spent a whole day just sight seeing and doing the tourist thing and it was a lot of fun. We rented a car drove and I drove into the city down to Fishermens Wharf and there we hoped on a tour bus where they took us around to all the famous spots in the city. After the tour which was about 3 hours we had lunch at the warf at this amazing place bakery. The weather was really cold and since I only packed a few cardigans (since I was going to be in California which is always hot right? wrong!) I was happy for the warm bread and soup. We ate it outside even though it was chilly because we had a huge real fire all to our selves. It was a very beautiful spot to enjoy our lunch. Then we did some shopping – of course right! After that we headed to the car and drove to some of the spots that we had seen on our bus tour that we wanted to see up close and personal!
Our rental – made me feel right at home driving in the BMW family!
The fog over the city was so intense you could hardly see the tops of the Golden Gate Bridge which is common for San Fran they say the fog rolls in thick this time of year but as the day goes on the fog lifts some days completely others not entirely.
On the tour bus trying to keep warm. Our tour guide was super funny and very knowledgeable
The famous street cars. It is hard to show in a picture just how hilly the city is. I have never seen anything like it.
This is their beautiful city hall is inspired by Les Invalides in Paris and cost $3.4 million dollars to rebuild which would be $400 million today. The building is plated with real gold leaf detailing. It was simply a beautiful building.
When I found out I was going to San Francisco I knew I had to see the Painted Ladies. If you ever watched Full House you will recognize these houses from their opening of the show.
The Boudin Bakery was so amazing and the food was super delicious! Making me crave a bowl of their homemade food right now!
Like I said I so wish I had more time in San Francisco. With the weather being so chilly and our time being short we didn’t even get to go over to Alcatraz which I would have loved to see besides from the shore line. So now I need to start planning my trip back!
I hope you all have a great weekend. Tomorrow is my baby (not so baby) girls birthday tomorrow so we have a family fun day planned and she is already super excited about it so we will see how much sleep we all get tonight!
That’s so awesome! 🙂

Say hi to your dad.
Love ya,
