I am so excited to finally let you in on a little secret my family and I have been keeping. (NO we are not expecting) WE ARE MOVING!! It has been a long time dream of mine to build my own home. You know like pick out the design, the layout, all the finishings ect. And this dream is coming true! My husband and I decided back in the summer that we wanted 2015 to be the year we made the big move. We then quickly started looking for property! We soon after found a beautiful neighbourhood that we could see ourselves moving into and raising our family. It was close to amenities and will have a brand new school and rec centre when the subdivision is finished. We then started looking at different builders and once we found the one we wanted to work with it was time to start working through drawings of what our home would look like. I was so excited that I wanted everything to happen a lot faster than it was taking (surprise surprise). Once we agreed on our house plans it was time to wait for the build to actually start. Now I have had my share of waiting in my life and even though I have had lots of experience I am still not a good waiter. Waiting is no fun! Shortly after Christmas the ground was broke and our house started to take shape. We are all so excited about our new house and I love hearing my daughter talk about her new bedroom and always wanting to drive by our new house. So prepare for lots of upcoming posts on all my ideas of decorating and finishings for our new home! I can’t leave you without a few pictures of our future home!
