Motherhood is tough! I don’t think that would come as a suprise to anyone especially all the moms out there! As a new mom especially there are so many things you have to decide for yourself and your little one. Breast feed or bottle feed? Cloth or Disposable diapers? Soother or no soother? And the list goes on. It can be overwhelming and the thing I had to learn quickly is I have to do what is right for me and my baby no matter what anyone else says.
Woman in general are very opinionated people and we love to share our opinions wether they are asked for or not and some are more gracious in their approach than others. Being a mommy means being able listen to others opinions and advice and ultimately make your own decisions. When it came to feeding my babies it was only natural that I would choose to bottle feed. I knew there were some options I could try to be able to breast feed but ultimately I felt like bottle feeding would be the best for both me and my babies. I know there is a lot of talk about breast is best and like I said earlier I had to quickly in my journey of motherhood realize people will say what they want but I will do what is best for me and my baby. Once we had decided to bottle feed the big question is what bottles to use! It seems like a simple task and to be honest with my oldest it was easy. I walked into our local baby store looked over the bottles and choose one I thought would work and cosmetically I liked the way it looked. This time around it was different. All three of my babies have suffered from reflux but my littlest baby has been suffering sadly the most. Suffering from reflux and colic I knew I was going to do whatever I could to help her. Onto of medication for her reflux I knew from some research there were other things I could do to help her including my choice of bottle. I quickly started researching bottles that would help with her reflux and reduce the amount of air intake. The brand Playtex has been around forever and it wasn’t a new name to me but the Playtex Nurser with Drop-In Liners was new to me. I started looking into the bottle and quickly discovered I wanted to try this bottle and see if it would help. Some of the things I realized: she took it on her first try with no discomfort and drank her entire bottle dry, I like the gender neutral look of the bottle making it easy to use from boy to girl, the liner gently collapsed to prevent air from mixing with the formula and thus helping eliminate the gas in baby’s belly, the lid makes a locking sound when placed in the proper position so you know it is on correctly and it conveniently snaps onto the bottle of the bottle during feeding so you don’t loose it, and probably one of my favourite features is the fact the liners are disposable which means less washing and lets face it as a busy mom of 3 little ones I am happy when I have less work. So far we have been loving using the new bottle and I am so excited because I want to give you an opportunity to try one as well.

I’d love to try an 8oz bottle! I’m up for any way I can make my daughter more comfortable after eating.
Jen I just received an email from Playtex they are only offering the 4 oz now… is that ok for you to still try?
Absolutely! Thanks Katie
Love reading your posts Katie!
I would love to try one! My daughter is SO fussy with bottles, it’s been such a challenge trying to find one that will work for her for the long run. She’s 6mths, so I guess the drop-ins one would be better than the nurser?
Looking forward to trying it!
just wanted to let you know the winner has been contacted. Thanks for participating!
Hi Katie,
Your post could not have been more timely! My husband and I are expecting our first baby this March and we recently went to register. This process was fun but needless to say, overwhelming. And, one of the things I found most daunting was the endless selection of bottles (and soothers!). In the end I did something similar to you – chose one that looked aesthetically pleasing. However, I left feeling not great about this and wondering what my options truly were. Anyways, in sum I would be very interested in trying one of these bottles!
Also – you have a wonderful blog and I enjoy your posts 🙂
Heather
