I am so excited that today is the launch of my site as well as its Canada’s birthday. I love birthdays. I feel it is a day set aside to honour and celebrate the life of a person and therefore its a big deal (in my opinion) and I like to do big celebrations for birthdays. Since its not just one persons birthday but its a whole country’s birthday that means an extra big party! How do you celebrate Canada Day? I love the fact that Canada Day is a holiday (for most people) and in my books that means family time which I absolutely love. I will spend the day at the cottage most likely monitoring my now mobile baby and watching my busy toddler all from my seat on the dock. Im sure we will do some boating and sea dooing since by babies are water babies they love to spend as much time in and on the water as they can. I know we will eat lots of food and consume yummy (non alcoholic for the babies) drinks because a party isn’t a party without great food. No party is complete without a party outfit. Here is my idea of a Canada Day outfit:
Hat Sunglasses Shirt Shorts Sandals Bag Towel Cup
I am proud to say I am Canadian and I want to publicly say a huge thank you to every single man and woman who have fought for the freedom we enjoy here in Canada. Their sacrifices made it possible for me to be able to live in this gorgeous country and raise my babies with luxuries that are not readily available to people in other parts of the world. So my little family and I will celebrate today and remember with hearts full of thankfulness to those who have gone before, given and are still giving to keep our country safe! Cheers to a free country and a day well spent celebrating with family! *Pop the bubbly*
