Spring Things

What a weekend! If you follow me on IG you would have seen Friday night I spent in the ER with my daughter. After a little fall at home resulting in a broken tooth and 5 stitches to her face I never want to live through that again. My sweet girl was so brave, she really was, even the dr and 3 nurses that held her down to stitch her couldn’t believe how brave she was. I don’t know who cried harder me or her! As a parent I wish so badly I could protect my babies from all the pain they will encounter in this life but I know that is impossible. Both my husband and I felt sick watching her suffer like that but after a trip to Target for a new toy on Saturday and some tylenol she was back to herself minus the swollen face and bruising on her cheek. Then on Saturday our house officially sold which was a huge answer to prayer and definitely a welcomed excitement after our Friday night. So now the “fun” begins! I actually don’t mind packing at all so I am not dreading this part at all besides the end result of my new home is worth all of this.

I can’t believe March is already here! I really hope that now that March is here the spring weather will follow. I am so done with winter and would love some sunshine and heat. Usually March means vacation for our family but this year do to the new house and selling ect we didn’t know what March would hold for us so we put the vacation off. Needless to say I am sad about that as I would love nothing more than to escape for a week with my family and relax, go swimming, sleep in, through routine out the windows and just have fun in the heat and sunshine! Instead I will dream of my new house, do some shopping for some spring clothes (and for the house) and hold on to my seat as I know March will fly bye. Here are some things I am loving for this spring!
